
MEET THE FOUNDER
Lía Protto, the founder of Tentroya, began her professional career as a lawyer in a law firm. However, she was bored in that environment and decided to enroll in the Escuela Argentina de Moda. There she discovered her true passion for fashion design, which led her to change careers and start a new life focused on fashion. Despite having a steady job in the legal field, Lía knew from a very young age that design was her vocation. In 2008, she decided to take the leap and founded Tentroya, a brand specializing in leather handbags and accessories. At first, she started selling her products to acquaintances and friends in her social circle.
Over time, her brand grew and she opened two stores in the heart of Buenos Aires, but had to close them due to the pandemic.Lía emphasizes that she dedicates a lot of time to ensuring the quality of her products, using high-end materials such as kid leather, a fine leather of excellent quality. Her philosophy is to offer original products, different from what is already on the market, and at reasonable prices for the quality they offer.

FROM TENTROJAN TO THE WORLD
Some years ago there was TENTROYA, a thoroughbred racehorse that was known for kicking up sand on the racetrack. I grew up surrounded by racehorses, and among them, one in particular left a special mark: Tentroya. His indomitable spirit and strength became a symbol of our family.

The brand's name is a tribute to that memory and represents the determination to create something unique and authentic. TENTROYA is more than a name; it is the essence of what we seek to convey: nobility, elegance and rebelliousness, present in each of our products.
